SanDisk launches 2 new mp3 players
A couple of new mp3 players have been launched by SanDisk, in news that may interest those looking to spend commission earned in a sales job.
The Guardian reports that the Sansa Fuze and Clip are both flash memory-based mp3 players with slimline designs and inbuilt FM radios.
CNET recently described FM radios as one of its "top-five iPod features you'll never see".
It's a difficult market to enter, the publication points out, admitting that neither of the new gadgets is likely to usurp Apple's dominant iPod.
However, these gadgets are cheaper than their market-leading counterpart, with the Fuze costing £90 for an eight gigabyte version and the four gigabyte Clip sporting a £60 price tag.
The interface differs from the iPod: while it features a scroll wheel with five click areas, there is button with the 'home' logo that takes you to the main menu while you are listening to a song, but also takes you back to that song from the main menu.
"This is confusing," the report states.
