90% of staff 'not in ideal job'
One in ten workers believe they are currently in their perfect job, according to a new study.
Research carried out by employment website Monster also indicates 14 per cent do not think that their perfect role exists, while 76 per cent said they hope their ideal post is available somewhere.
Spanish employees were found to be the most hopeful about future job prospects, with 88 per cent of workers polled believing that the right job role is available in the market, followed by Hungary on 80 per cent and the Netherlands on 77 per cent.
Representative for the company Julian Acquari commented: "If they do get bad news about their current role, people should take the opportunity to look into pursuing their ideal job and how they can achieve it, whether through training courses, revamping their CVs or perfecting interview techniques."
He added that people are becoming more introspective about their future career paths as the economy slows.
