Sales job candidates 'worry about the perfect smile'
Those looking at sales jobs should ensure they perfect their smile before the crucial interview, an expert asserts.
Dr Anoop Maini, member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, claims that people are even turning to orthodontic treatment to get the ideal pair of teeth.
He says workers over the age of 40 are prime candidates due to the highly-competitive nature of the employment market.
"We find that people who have currently lost their job now have the time to try to improve their overall health and improve their confidence in order to get back into the market place," he states.
Among the treatments those looking at sales jobs could be considering are teeth whitening, veneers and the removal of old amalgams.
Recently Molly Wendell, author of The New Job Search, claimed that taking new or unconventional approaches to obtaining a sales job could be the key to clinching the position.
