Star employees need entertainment rewards

Companies using sales recruitment need to ensure that they give rewards to their star performers, according to an expert, who said that sporting events are a tried and tested option.

Andrew Hodgkins, acting managing director at Keith Prowse said that taking the best performers out to a sporting match or contest keeps them motivated and boosts morale, as well as nurturing trust, friendship and respect.

"Star employees who have proved their worth over a sustained period can be rewarded with fine dining, superb service, and the excitement of an international sporting contest," he stated.

The expert added that summer is the perfect time for businesses to reward their staff because there are a whole host of events on the calendar.

A survey by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work recently revealed that four out of five European managers are concerned about stress in the workplace, and trips out can help relieve it.
